Have you heard about the youth mission trip to Guatemala this June? Are you interested in supporting them in this endeavor but missed out on the vehicle detailing fundraiser they held at Strands a few weeks ago? Well, you have another chance to support the mission team and enjoy a good meal!
On Sunday, April 23rd, the youth mission team is hosting a pasta dinner. The dinner will be served from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall (101 S. Center St.). Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available. The youth will lead a brief presentation about their mission trip at 6:00 p.m. There will be a free will offering.
In June our mission team will travel to Guatemala to serve with MorningStar missions in the area of La Democracia. We have shared about Eleanor's kitchen in past blog post, and our team is excited to see it and work there and in the surrounding area. You can support this effort financially and through prayer.
Please be praying for God to be at work:
preparing the hearts, minds, and bodies of those going on this mission trip,
preparing the hearts and minds of the people we will meet while traveling and at our destination,
with MorningStar Missions and Shawn and Nancy Paul as they host mission teams and as they do their regular mission work in Central America, and
to make us humble and open to receive what God has for us during the week.
