Lakeshore Center at Okoboji sent us an update that we are just now able to share with you. You can see their whole newsletter here, but their best news is that the Lodge mortgage was paid off in October, making Lakeshore Center deft-free! In addition to camps for children and youth, they also offer a quilter's retreat, a retreat on aging gracefully, an all camp reunion, and even a music camp for adults. Perhaps it has been awhile since you visited the camp (that you maybe knew as Presbyterian Camp on Okoboji), or maybe you have never been there. It is an amazing place! You have the opportunity to go and experience its beauty and serenity this spring with the mission team going to work on flood recovery in Spencer, Iowa, May 2-4. The team will be staying at the camp. There will be spring clean-up projects at Lakeshore Center for those who choose to help with the children and youth or who cannot do the work in Spencer.
